Muslim Unity Center of Maryland is a nonprofit Islamic community organization dedicated to serving the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the community in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

Our work is guided by the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, with a focus on unity, compassion, service, and ethical responsibility. Allah says:

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.”
(Qur’an 3:103)

The Center provides a welcoming environment for worship, learning, community engagement, and charitable initiatives while promoting harmony and understanding within the wider society.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve Allah through community service by:
        •       Establishing regular worship and religious activities
        •       Promoting Islamic knowledge based on the Qur’an and Sunnah
        •       Strengthening unity and brotherhood within the community
        •       Serving humanity with compassion and integrity

Allah says:

“Indeed, the mosques of Allah are maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, and give zakah.”
(Qur’an 9:18)

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a strong, inclusive Islamic center that nurtures faith, character, and service to society.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people.”
